报告摘要：
With hundreds of bands acquired from visible spectrum to (nearly) infrared, hyperspectral imaging can detect minor differences in terms of moisture, temperature and chemical component changes. As a result, it enables a wide range of applications for non-intrusive characterization of material for quality control, assessment and authentication. The main techniques and applications are addressed in this talk, along with some recent progress.
报告人简介：
Dr. Ren 是英国斯克莱德大学电子电气工程系高级讲师(副教授)，斯克莱德大学高光谱中心常务副主任，是广东技术师范学院客座教授，成功合作包括国家自然基金等多个项目。其研究兴趣包括视觉计算，计算机视觉，基于内容的图像/视频分析检索，机器学习，视觉监控，高光谱图像，大数据分析计算等等。任博士已经发表160余篇高水杂志/会议论文，包括70余篇SCI论文。任职四个SCI杂志副主编。目前为IEEE高级会员，Who Is Who 终身成就Fellow。
